Reading Roundup: July 2017

The Signal Flame by Andrew Krivak I'm pretty sure I actually read this book in June, but for some reason it didn't make it onto my review post. I'm surprised I didn't write about it, because I can't stop thinking about the novel and its characters. The writing is gorgeous and the setting and characters are so vividly described that I can't quite let them go. It's a thoughtful, quiet novel that will stick with you for a long time after you read it. Arrowood by Laura McHugh I grabbed this off the new book display at the library when I was in the mood for a good mystery.
